If a storage element needs to be removed from LDG the following steps are needed:

• Compile list of files with a replicum on the given SE where the total number of replica is 1 or 2. The tool fcdump and the script check-se-remove.pl (both part of ldg-sys) are helpful for this purpose. These files must be replicated to other storage elements.
• Unregister all replica on the given SE from the file catalogue.
• Remove SE from list of SEs in file
  • ltools.rsc in LDG repository and deploy it in updated version of env.rpm.
  • If necessary: Services.xml in ILDG MWWG source repository and ask maintainer of web copy (currently B. Joo) to update this copy.
