Metadata

Metadata schemas for ensembles and gauge configurations are defined by the following XSD documents

QCDmlEnsemble2.0.0.xsd - XML schema for ensemble metadata
QCDmlConfig2.0.0.xsd - XML schema for gauge configuration metadata

Example XML files and previous QCDml versions are available in the public gitlab repository. A summary of the changes and extensions introduced in version 2.0.x of QCDml can be found in this report and on the webpage of the Metadata Working Group.

Gauge Configurations

The layout and packing format of gauge configurations into binary files is specified in ildg-file-format-1.2.pdf.

Web Services

The REST API of the metadata (MDC) catalogue and file catalogue (FC) is currently under revision. For examples see swagger documentation of the current prototype implementations of MDC and FC.
