HOWTO get an account

Load the User Registration Form and

• Fill in personal data and select preferences at page 1 (note guidelines for passwords on page 3)
• Select Unix group apeuser on page 2
• Select resource zn-ape_farm on page 2
• Put your signature at the bottom of page 1

Forward this signed form to reference person at Zeuthen, who must:

• Check whether all relevant Unix groups are selected
• Check whether all relevant resources are selected
• Put his/her signature at the botoom of page 2

Note for external users: After you have received your account, please install correct mail-forwarding in order to receive system messages about the expiration of the password. DON'T DO THIS BY EDITING YOUR .forward-FILE, but use the command
